Junior/SemiSenior Back-End Engineer – Python, Security and Safety Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs.

• Create scalable applications utilizing Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Collaborate effectively with front-end developers, DevOps, and other teams to ensure seamless system integration.

• Enhance applications for performance, reliability, and security.

• Diagnose, debug, and refine existing applications.

• Identify opportunities for technological improvements and establish best practices.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and contemporary back-end development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Python back-end development.

• Strong grasp of RESTful API development and best practices.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases along with ORM frameworks.

• Proficient in Git and software development best practices.

• Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI is preferred.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is advantageous.

• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

• Understanding of asynchronous programming and task queues like Celery is a plus.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest is a plus.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and microservices architecture is beneficial.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proactive, problem-solving attitude with a readiness to take ownership and continuously learn.

• Must currently reside in Latin America.
