Junior/Semi-Senior Cold-Fusion Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing ColdFusion (CFML) web applications.

• Write, optimize, and debug SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.

• Develop and integrate front-end components utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Identify and resolve application bugs, technical challenges, and production errors.

• Assist in the refactoring, modernization, or migration of legacy ColdFusion applications.

• Integrate RESTful and SOAP web services within CFML applications.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and estimation.

• Utilize Git for version control and maintain precise technical documentation.

• Contribute to peer code reviews while upholding high code-quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with ColdFusion (CFML), Adobe ColdFusion, or Lucee.

• Strong understanding of relational databases and the development and optimization of SQL queries.

• Experience in integrating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with ColdFusion applications.

• Capability to debug, maintain, and enhance legacy codebases.

• Familiarity with web application architecture, including the request/response lifecycle, sessions, and forms.

• Proficiency in English for daily communication with the client team.

• Junior level: 1–2 years of ColdFusion experience, with the ability to deliver guided bug fixes and small features.

• Semi-Senior level: 3–5 years of ColdFusion experience, capable of independently delivering features, troubleshooting production issues, and participating in code reviews.

• Reliable internet connection and a laptop are required.

• Must currently reside in Latin America.
