Junior Workflow Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation under guidance.

• Assist in the design and implementation of workflow architectures under the supervision of a senior developer.

• Collaborate with the team to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Build custom applications and modules within Zoho Creator while receiving mentorship.

• Develop multi-step workflows utilizing Zoho Flow and N8N.

• Integrate third-party APIs and webhooks to facilitate data flow between various systems.

• Write Deluge scripts for data manipulation and the implementation of business logic.

• Produce clean, well-documented front-end code using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and back-end code with Node.js or Python.

• Utilize JavaScript and JSON for API interactions, data parsing, and custom code steps.

• Develop Python scripts for data processing and assigned automation tasks.

• Monitor and troubleshoot automated workflows to ensure efficiency.

• Support data consistency and security across all integrated systems.

• Identify and resolve any integration issues that arise.

• Create comprehensive technical documentation and process flowcharts.

• Contribute to the creation of training materials and user guides.

• Seek feedback and pursue continuous improvement of technical skills.

• Collaborate with team members to learn best practices and stay updated on emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional experience in software development, automation, or related technical fields (or a recent graduate with a strong portfolio).

• Proficient in building applications and writing Deluge scripts in Zoho Creator.

• Familiarity with designing and implementing basic to intermediate workflows in Zoho Flow.

• Knowledge of the QuickBooks Online API.

• Understanding of N8N with the capability to build multi-step workflows.

• Basic experience in connecting applications and creating automations using Zapier or similar tools.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and HTML/CSS.

• Basic to intermediate understanding of Node.js or Python.

• Strong grasp of RESTful API principles and experience working with APIs.

• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.

• Ability to write clean, readable code with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience with APIs and webhooks.

• Familiarity with JSON and JavaScript for data manipulation tasks.

• Understanding the basics of Deluge scripting.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• A detail-oriented and accountable work approach.

• Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with team members and non-technical stakeholders.
