Junior Web Developer, AI Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, update, and manage responsive websites and landing pages utilizing Zoho Sites, website builders, content management systems, and low-code platforms.

• Execute approved templates, layouts, copy, and images while ensuring a consistent presentation and mobile-friendly user experience.

• Make adjustments in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and resolve layout, styling, scripting, and website integration issues.

• Conduct tests on pages, forms, and links across various browsers and screen sizes.

• Verify spelling, grammar, and content accuracy while supporting accessibility, loading performance, and technical SEO enhancements.

• Set up CRM lead-capture and follow-up workflows using Zoho or existing CRM platforms.

• Integrate website forms, CRMs, email platforms, and other systems using APIs, integrations, or webhooks.

• Populate workflows with provided content and test triggers, field mappings, actions, and error handling.

• Configure Zoho Social or other marketing platforms, uploading and scheduling provided content and graphics.

• Monitor client systems, identify configuration or technical issues, and assist with client reporting as needed.

• Establish and test simple, supervised AI assistants, agents, and automation.

• Investigate unfamiliar tools and integrations, addressing implementation gaps.

• Participate in internal AI and automation initiatives to minimize repetitive tasks and enhance internal processes.

• Evaluate outputs, adhere to access controls, and ensure human review and approval before operational usage.

• Document changes to websites, system configurations, workflows, dependencies, testing, and handover or recovery procedures.

• Safeguard passwords, API keys, and client data while securing business owner approval prior to production releases.

• Promptly communicate progress, questions, blockers, and delays, integrating feedback as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant commercial experience in web development, website implementation, or a similar technical role involving website work.

• Practical programming experience and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience with website builders, content management systems, or low-code platforms such as Zoho Sites, WordPress, or similar tools.

• Capability to diagnose website issues and test modifications across common browsers and screen sizes.

• Understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON, and how websites interact with other systems.

• Basic familiarity with AI tools and a genuine interest in learning practical automation and AI-assisted implementation.

• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• A reliable, organized, and detail-oriented approach.

• Ability to adhere to documented procedures, safeguard confidential information, and respond positively to feedback.

• Fast and dependable internet connection.

• Availability to work the agreed-upon Brisbane business-hours schedule.

• Preferred: Experience with Zoho applications, particularly Zoho Sites, CRM, Forms, Flow, Creator, Campaigns, or Social.

• Preferred: Familiarity with tools like Make, Zapier, n8n, or Zoho Flow.

• Preferred: Experience in configuring CRM follow-up workflows, form-to-CRM connections, or digital marketing platforms.

• Preferred: Demonstrated examples of practical AI-enabled applications, assistants, integrations, or agents.

• Preferred: Knowledge of conversion-focused page design, technical SEO, secure credential management, or related website quality practices.

• Preferred: Experience working with clients from Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
