This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create and develop training materials focused on the learner, such as instructor-led training (ILT) resources, facilitator manuals, participant workbooks, job aids, user guides, and e-Learning modules.
• Utilize instructional design methodologies along with adult learning theories.
• Design engaging e-Learning solutions using various authoring tools.
• Perform training needs assessments and work collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs), project teams, and business stakeholders.
• Construct scenario-based learning experiences, simulations, and performance support tools.
• Ensure training materials meet Federal and public sector standards, policies, terminology, accessibility requirements, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Change Management and Communications teams.
• Review and ensure the quality of training materials.
• Develop and monitor training metrics, gather learner feedback, and assess effectiveness.
• Utilize Microsoft Copilot, AI writing assistants, voiceover generators, and content creation tools.
• Over 3 years of experience in Instructional Design, Training Development, and Training Needs Analysis within business and technology transformation projects.
• In-depth understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methods.
• Proven experience in creating Instructor-Led Training and e-Learning solutions.
• Proficient in Articulate Rise 360, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or other similar authoring software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Learning Management Systems, and Microsoft Forms.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Excel for measuring training effectiveness, analyzing learner feedback, and reporting.
• Competency in using Microsoft Copilot and other AI-driven content creation tools.
• Capability to convert complex business processes, system modifications, and technical concepts into understandable learning materials.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and teamwork abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Federal Government or public sector training is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Reliability Security Clearance or higher is required at the time of application.
