Junior to Mid Level Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to comprehend business needs, document requirements, and convert them into actionable solutions that enhance automation and AI-enabled capabilities.

• Assist in walkthroughs as well as discussions on processes, risks, and controls.

• Identify essential controls, applications, models, vendors, data dependencies, and IT dependencies pertinent to the processes under examination.

• Aid stakeholders in understanding control responsibilities, documentation requirements, and sustainable execution practices.

• Evaluate current-state processes to uncover opportunities for simplifying workflows, minimizing manual effort, reinforcing controls, and enhancing efficiency through technology, AI, low-code, and workflow solutions.

• Document business processes, requirements, risks, controls, process modifications, decisions, and action items.

• Monitor deliverables, open items, dependencies, and follow-up actions for reviews, assessments, and transformation projects.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to assess the operational impact of changes related to processes, systems, automation, and AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Three years of experience in business analysis, digital transformation, compliance, or a similar field.

• Proficient knowledge of COSO, PCAOB Auditing Standards, NIST, SOX, ISO, SOC I, SOC II, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) methodologies and practices.

• Experience in supporting process redesign, workflow enhancement, and automation utilizing AI or comparable technology solutions.

• Basic understanding of agentic and AI-enabled systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to organize information, identify dependencies, and translate complex topics into clear business requirements and documentation.

• Flexibility to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and a willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and risk concepts.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.

• Candidates must reside within the Eastern Time Zone (ET).
