Senior Business Analyst, AI Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Identify and evaluate business processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and explore automation opportunities utilizing AI technologies such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect, document, and refine business requirements for AI and automation projects.

• Develop and sustain technical and functional documentation using AI-assisted frameworks and tools.

• Compose detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, Jira tasks, and Confluence documentation in alignment with Agile delivery methodologies.

• Engage in backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning meetings, and cross-functional workshops.

• Convert business objectives into precise technical requirements and measurable success indicators.

• Leverage Generative AI and copilot tools to expedite the development of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), workflows, technical summaries, and internal knowledge bases.

• Assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, and relevance to business needs.

• Facilitate communication between business teams, developers, data scientists, compliance/legal stakeholders, and leadership.

• Assist in change management, user onboarding, training documentation, and the adoption of AI across various teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong command of English (minimum B2 level required).

• Over 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in software development settings.

• Comprehensive understanding of AI/ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, NLP, prompt engineering, RAG, and workflows based on LLMs (mandatory).

• 1 to 2+ years of practical experience in supporting AI, Data Science, Analytics, or Automation projects.

• Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, Jira, Confluence, and process modeling tools like Miro or Visio.

• Proven experience in writing business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-framing capabilities with an emphasis on business results.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to critically assess AI-generated content and identify inconsistencies or inaccuracies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
