Junior Technical Writer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and technical support representatives at Malwarebytes to develop product guides and self-help articles for customers.

• Produce high-quality documentation that is clear, concise, and technically accurate.

• Adhere to best practices regarding documentation quality, graphics, format, and style.

• Work alongside subject matter experts to identify and produce content that enhances issue resolution and customer satisfaction.

• Foster a robust knowledge-sharing community within the support team.

• Partner with support, engineering, and product management teams to collect data and information.

• Evaluate documentation for accuracy, consistency, quality, and SEO optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 0 to 3 years of experience in a technical communication position.

• Experience writing for SaaS, mobile, and desktop B2C companies or products.

• Familiarity with AI.

• A self-starter who is comfortable asking for help and seeking clarification.

• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities; able to work under pressure.

• Exceptional editing, writing, and communication skills.

• Experience crafting content for both home and business users, as well as for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android systems.

• Awareness of current cybersecurity trends and topics.

• Proficiency in HTML and CSS.

• Experience with search engine optimization.

• Capable of producing clean, on-brand graphics and screenshots to complement written documentation.

• 100% remote work; US-based employees are required to work earlier hours to align with European time zones.
