Junior Software Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct all testing activities associated with products and projects.

• Guarantee that deliverables meet specifications and adhere to the highest quality standards in line with company processes and standards.

• Develop traceability matrices that link requirements documents to test cases.

• Formulate test scenarios, test conditions, expected outcomes, and test cases.

• Execute test scripts and software programs in accordance with specifications and documentation.

• Manage and monitor bugs, verifying issues reported by team members.

• Carry out regression testing prior to key milestones.

• Utilize bug-tracking and software management tools.

• Produce historical analyses of test results.

• Maintain and refresh test plans, test cases, and test environments throughout the production lifecycle.

• Review the software user manual with the technical writer to ensure updates are reflected in manuals, software articles, and documentation.

• Report any UI/UX issues.

• Assess the reliability, performance, and functionality of software products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• 1-2 years of experience in software quality control.

• Practical experience with industry-standard test management tools.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience in both Mobile and Web Testing.

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• In-depth understanding of software testing types and techniques.

• ISTQB Certification is a bonus.
