Junior SAP Basis Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the administration of SAP Basis on both Linux and Windows platforms for ABAP and Java systems.

• Responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, optimization, and management of SAP databases (Oracle).

• In charge of planning and executing SAP installations, upgrades, Enhancement Packages (EHPs), kernel updates, along with system and client copies.

• Engaged in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues while ensuring continuous performance optimization.

• Facilitating ongoing SAP operations as part of 2nd- and 3rd-level support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed university degree or equivalent vocational training in IT, accompanied by relevant professional experience.

• 1–3 years of professional experience in a related field.

• Strong familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux).

• Proficient knowledge in database administration (Oracle, HANA, Sybase).

• Experience in utilizing and implementing SAP Solution Manager.

• Strong technical comprehension and analytical abilities.

• Excellent proficiency in the German language.
