This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conducting systematic investigations into process engineering subjects in partnership with students and Münster University of Applied Sciences.

• Overseeing and coordinating student research projects, Bachelor's theses, and Master's theses focused on process engineering topics pertinent to the company.

• Bridging the gap between contemporary scientific findings and methods with specific technical challenges at the facility.

• Engaging with topics such as wastewater treatment and AOX treatment, recovery of valuable materials and solvents, alternative solvents, crystallization and synthesis processes, milling and intermediate storage processes, raw material quality and product stability, exhaust gas treatment, and the production of fermentative active pharmaceutical ingredients.

• Advancing and optimizing existing production processes.

• Assisting in meeting environmental and emissions compliance requirements.

• Aiming to minimize the volume of waste needing external disposal.

• Enhancing process safety, sterility, and product quality.

• Acting as the liaison for joint projects between the university and the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a completed university degree and doctorate in process engineering, chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, chemistry, or a related field.

• Proven experience in conducting academic research in process engineering areas.

• Background in supervising or mentoring students, ideally within research and development projects.

• Strong capability to convert scientific findings into applicable technical solutions.

• Proficiency in coordinating intricate projects at the intersection of industry and academia.
