Junior - Intermediate ABAP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality software as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.

• Participate in Scrum teams with brief development and release cycles.

• Collaborate effectively with teams located across various geographical regions.

• Adhere to agile software engineering practices.

• Code, test, conduct quality assurance, and document software solutions.

• Innovate new products and software features following agile methodologies.

• Design and implement new software functionalities.

• Evaluate and test new software, rectifying defects during the testing phases.

• Analyze and resolve complex challenges in both existing and new product releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience.

• Strong knowledge of the product technology stack: ABAP, CDS/HANA, FIORI, and OData.

• Proficiency in FIORI, SAP UI5, and OData for user interface development.

• Familiarity with SAP HANA or any relational database systems.

• Experience in SAP application development or specialization in financial services application development is an asset.

• Background in SAP Transactional Banking is advantageous.
