Junior Full Stack Developer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Support the development of RESTful APIs utilizing Java/Spring Boot alongside modern user interfaces.

• Acquire and implement AI tools such as Gemini and Claude in daily programming tasks.

• Create and uphold automated unit tests under the mentorship of senior engineers.

• Follow up on revisions for pull requests while adhering to Clean Code and SOLID principles.

• Document functional workflows, API endpoints, and environment setup instructions within the project repository.

• Engage in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Play a role in the greenfield development of Bullla’s new Fixed-Income Platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of Java.

• Familiarity with the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, REST APIs).

• Basic to intermediate understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Acquaintance with React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Active interest in and utilization of generative AI tools (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).

• Basic understanding of unit testing using JUnit/Mockito, Jest, or similar frameworks.

• Knowledge of best practices for Clean Code.

• Basic familiarity with relational databases and SQL.

• Understanding of Git and collaborative workflows (branches, commits, pull requests, GitHub/GitLab).

• Interest in financial markets with a willingness to learn about Fixed-Income and Credit products and processes (preferred).
