Junior Full-Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and enhancement of responsive user interface components based on mockups.

• Support Java backend services by maintaining and developing endpoints using Spring Boot.

• Provide assistance with legacy REST/SOAP integrations.

• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality.

• Engage in regular code reviews and adopt contemporary coding practices.

• Gain experience in cross-platform enterprise environments utilizing Java and .NET.

• Aid in mapping data flow and comprehending architectural transitions.

• Collaborate with senior engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve bugs.

• Implement user stories while adhering to project deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in software development.

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Knowledge of fundamental Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in Java.

• Familiarity with modern web concepts, such as REST APIs.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database principles.

• Experience with Git or GitHub for source code management.

• Eager to broaden skills across various technologies, including exposure to .NET, SOAP services, or database systems.

• Resourceful mindset with a logical approach to debugging and resolving software issues.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a collaborative and growth-oriented mindset.

• Comfortable seeking clarification when facing obstacles and enthusiastic about learning new tools and frameworks.

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or completion of an accredited software engineering bootcamp/program is preferred.

• Practical experience with Spring Boot, React, or Angular through personal projects or coursework is preferred.
