Junior Front-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve screens and workflows for web applications, converting product and design specifications into functional interfaces.

• Create responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces based on design prototypes.

• Design and enhance reusable components that adhere to the design system.

• Integrate screens with backend services, managing loading, error, empty, and permission states effectively.

• Engage in story refinement with product and design teams.

• Assume responsibility for end-to-end tasks of low to medium complexity while working autonomously.

• Validate workflows, prevent regressions, and uphold the user-perceived performance of applications.

• Assist the senior developer with the squad's priorities.

• Track screen performance in production and aid in troubleshooting issues reported by users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Professional experience in building and maintaining applications using React and Next.js.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, including typing, componentization, and code organization.

• Experience in creating interfaces with Tailwind CSS.

• Familiarity with a design system or component library.

• Experience with scalable component architecture.

• Proficient in consuming REST APIs, including managing response states, errors, and authentication.

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and best practices for responsive design.

• Acquainted with Git in a collaborative workflow, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.

• Knowledgeable in frontend performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.

• Experience working in agile settings.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

• Proactive in identifying technical and product enhancements.

• Prudent use of AI tools while taking responsibility for the code produced.
