Junior Finance Attorney – Renewable Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the junior attorney for intricate renewable energy financing projects.

• Prepare, assess, modify, and negotiate transaction documents and related agreements.

• Partner with clients, colleagues from Clean Energy Counsel, and other experts on financial matters.

• Follow the firm’s established policies, practices, and priorities.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by firm management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience at a law firm.

• Preferably experienced in serving clients in the renewable energy sector and associated industries.

• Background in managing large syndicated financings.

• Proficient in drafting ancillary agreements, such as reliance letters, resolutions, opinion backup certificates, and similar documents.

• Capable of effectively managing checklists for large, complex transactions and advancing deal components.

• Excellent organizational, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.

• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to mentoring junior attorneys.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational, planning, and project management capabilities.

• Ability to juggle multiple complex issues under tight deadlines and pressure.

• Competence to collaborate successfully in a remote work setting.

• Admission to and good standing with the Bar in the applicant’s state of residence.
