This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Evaluate aviation-related data to assist in decisions regarding flight paths, expenditure practices, employee productivity, safety standards, aviation regulations, national security, and additional topics.
• Utilize data to forecast trends and provide estimates associated with aviation.
• Conduct operational analyses and formulate concepts of operations.
• Examine architecture and overall systems design, operational concepts, design, and implementation strategies.
• Carry out data-driven evaluations, including alternative options for project delays and opportunities for integrating new technologies.
• Offer technical support in strategic planning, research and development, operations research, systems engineering, and the creation of briefings.
• Draft and prepare documents and presentations.
• Assist in Business Process Re-engineering, encompassing As-Is, To-Be, and Alternatives Analyses.
• Suggest enhancements to current processes and procedures for organizations involved in or connected to the BNATCS RSR Program.
• A Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Five years of pertinent experience can replace the Bachelor's degree requirement.
• Equivalent experience as an aviation data analyst in the U.S. Military or an international control setting is acceptable.
• Proficient in aviation data analysis tools and software such as Tableau, Excel, or comparable platforms.
• A solid understanding of FAA regulations, national security procedures, and industry best practices is strongly preferred.
• Experience in creating and delivering technical briefings to stakeholders across various organizational tiers.
• Capability to perform Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and spearhead process improvement efforts.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical documents and reports.
• Familiarity with systems engineering and operations research methodologies is advantageous.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain FAA public trust and FAA resume approval.
• Flexible remote work arrangement.
• Up to 10% travel required.
