Junior Electronics Validation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in the technical evaluation of different electronic components and suppliers.

• Review electrical specifications, datasheets, application notes, and technical documents.

• Conduct comparisons of components to assess their compatibility with current designs.

• Help identify the technical implications of substituting components.

• Carry out validation and verification tasks on electronic components under the guidance of a senior engineer.

• Aid in laboratory testing, functional testing, and electrical characterization.

• Record test outcomes, observations, and technical insights.

• Take part in root cause analyses concerning component performance or validation challenges.

• Work together with Hardware, Systems, and Quality teams during component assessments.

• Assist in engineering change processes related to component replacement projects.

• Keep technical documentation, validation reports, and component evaluation records up to date.

• Ensure adherence to internal engineering protocols and relevant industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 0-3 years of experience in electronics development, validation, testing, or similar engineering roles.

• Fundamental understanding of microcontrollers, power devices, sensors, communication interfaces, as well as analog and digital circuits, and passive components.

• Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets.

• Familiarity with tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and logic analyzers.

• Basic troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

• Elementary knowledge of Xpedition or similar software applications.

• Proficiency in English for technical documentation and effective communication.
