This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Providing technical consulting and support to clients for IT security projects within the DevSecOps domain.
• Planning, executing, configuring, and migrating top-tier cloud-native and cybersecurity solutions.
• Ensuring the operation and maintenance of a dedicated IT system landscape for a Cyber Defense Center utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux.
• Assuming paid on-call responsibilities to address critical outages outside normal service hours.
• Collaborating with seasoned colleagues on contemporary IT concepts tailored to meet technical and security-related client specifications.
• Offering technical expertise to support project management in the planning and scoping of work packages.
• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a degree in (business) computer science, technical, or applied computer science.
• Initial professional experience in managing IT environments.
• Proficiency in most of the following areas: Linux and IT networks (protocols, VLANs, routing, VPN).
• Familiarity with container environments and Docker; experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code, preferably with Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of cryptographic procedures and TLS certificates.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with centralized system logging and monitoring.
• Proficiency in a programming or scripting language, ideally Python.
• Quick learning ability and strong analytical skills.
• Confident demeanor along with effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Customer-oriented and service-minded with strong teamwork skills.
• Solution-focused, systematic, and organized work approach.
• Understanding of agile methods and processes is beneficial.
• Excellent command of both German and English.
• Willingness to travel within the D/A/CH region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland).
