This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications utilizing contemporary frameworks and programming languages.
• Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines, facilitate automated testing, and coordinate deployments with the Azure DevOps Engineer.
• Aid in the creation of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI or equivalent platforms.
• Contribute to the upkeep of both relational and non-relational databases and assist with data modeling and query formulation.
• Collaborate with senior developers, the Solution Architect, DevOps Engineer, and Data Scientists.
• Engage in peer code reviews.
• Help document code, data flows, and processes to promote knowledge sharing and ensure compliance.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Adhere to federal data security guidelines and best practices in development tasks.
• Support a Federal client's business and IT modernization initiative by developing an AI-enabled application.
• Capability to obtain a DOI Public Trust Moderate Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, or possess an Employment Authorization Document with a minimum of 3 years of continuous U.S. residency.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in React, Angular, Vue.js, .NET Core, Node.js, or C#.
• Familiarity with SQL and concepts related to relational databases.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of Docker or containerization principles.
• Interest in or experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) or cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI/data visualization tools is highly desirable.
• Ability to write SQL queries for reporting and data analysis.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and the development of dashboards or reports.
• Understanding of ETL processes is a plus.
• Strong enthusiasm for learning and growing in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Consistent attendance and the flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours when necessary.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is advantageous.
• Knowledge of CMMI is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field; relevant work experience or certifications will be taken into account.
• 1–3 years of overall IT/software development experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of hands-on application development experience.
• At least 1 year of exposure to DevOps tools or CI/CD.
• Preferred experience of 1+ years with BI/reporting tools.
• Exposure to cloud-based development, preferably Azure.
• Preferred familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Federal IT or government contracting experience is a bonus, but not mandatory.
• Fully remote work available within the Continental United States (CONUS).
