
Junior Consultant, DevOps β Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Assist in the establishment and management of automated CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Provide guidance to clients on creating and executing scalable cloud and infrastructure strategies.
β’ Implement deployment and infrastructure automation utilizing contemporary tools for clients.
β’ Independently create integrations for monitoring, logging, and security solutions.
β’ Aid service colleagues with configuration tasks leveraging DevOps and cloud expertise.
β’ Counsel clients on IT business models, IT strategy formulation, IT security, and cloud architecture.
β’ A completed university degree, such as in computer science or business informatics, or a strong vocational qualification.
β’ Initial hands-on experience in a DevOps environment, particularly in a multicloud context.
β’ Fundamental understanding and preliminary knowledge of Kubernetes (OpenShift, Rancher), Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI.
β’ Familiarity with modern authentication techniques like OAuth, OpenID, and SAML.
β’ Programming skills in Python, Go, or Java.
β’ Capability to discern business and technical requirements with clients and suppliers, and to design conceptual solutions.
β’ Strong communication and presentation abilities in German (C2) and English (minimum B2).
β’ A hands-on approach, high self-motivation, and a service-oriented attitude.
β’ A collaborative team player with organized communication and documentation skills.
β’ Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and an interest in emerging trends and key drivers.
β’ Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or ITIL Practitioner are beneficial and can be pursued.
