πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Design and develop comprehensive cloud-service and infrastructure solutions.

β€’ Establish and uphold cloud architecture standards, patterns, governance practices, and technical reference architectures.

β€’ Spearhead the assessment, selection, and deployment of cloud services, platforms, and technologies.

β€’ Collaborate effectively with engineering, development, security, and operations teams.

β€’ Create and sustain cloud architecture documentation, technical specifications, service designs, and decision records.

β€’ Facilitate continuous Authority to Operate (ATO) and automated ATO processes through cloud-service patterns, automation, integrations, and evidence-generating controls.

β€’ Design and assist with compliance data ingestion, normalization, and application in security, assessment, and authorization workflows.

β€’ Develop or contribute to Security Assessment Verification and Validation Plans.

β€’ Create and implement cloud architectures that enable approved AI-driven analytics and automation.

β€’ Lead or assist with Continuity of Operations (COOP), disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

β€’ Engage in Red Team/Blue Team exercises and assist with monitoring, remediation, and deriving lessons learned.

β€’ Support the Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) strategy, planning, process enhancement, and service roadmap development.

β€’ Conduct cloud readiness assessments and guide migration planning efforts.

β€’ Monitor and enhance cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

β€’ Ensure cloud environments comply with federal security and compliance standards.

β€’ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

β€’ Operate within an Agile delivery environment while fulfilling milestones and documentation requirements.

β€’ Assess emerging cloud technologies and propose adoption strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.

β€’ Over 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, or related domains, including a minimum of 5 years in a cloud architecture capacity.

β€’ Proficient in designing and implementing solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

β€’ Familiar with cloud migration strategies, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting approaches.

β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of cloud platform services across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

β€’ Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or similar tools.

β€’ Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), load balancing, DNS, Content Delivery Networks (CDN), and hybrid connectivity.

β€’ Experience in designing and implementing cloud security architectures, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, secure logging, policy enforcement, and Zero Trust principles.

β€’ Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes technologies.

β€’ Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline design and DevSecOps practices.

β€’ Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

β€’ Working knowledge of continuous ATO (cATO) concepts, continuous monitoring, security evidence automation, and compliance data integration.

β€’ Experience with FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and SOC 2 frameworks.

β€’ Understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, and COOP principles.

β€’ Strong grasp of FinOps principles.

β€’ Capability to provide technical leadership within an Agile delivery environment.

β€’ Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

β€’ Preferred qualifications: Master's degree, experience in federal government or Department of Defense IT, and relevant cloud certifications and technologies.
