This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish long-term strategic cloud technology frameworks and engineering standards.
• Design, implement, optimize, and sustain secure, scalable, and resilient hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Architect and oversee VPCs, VNets, subnets, transit gateways, peering connections, firewalls, private links, and dedicated connectivity solutions.
• Automate provisioning and configuration management through Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement cloud security measures, compliance protocols, encryption, WAF, and threat monitoring systems.
• Enhance cloud cost efficiency and resource utilization via tagging, rightsizing, reserved instances, savings plans, and cost analysis.
• Establish and manage monitoring, logging, and observability systems.
• Facilitate disaster recovery, high availability, backup/restore processes, failover strategies, business continuity, and DR testing.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, Application Development, and Operations teams on projects, incident response, and architectural assessments.
• Assist in cloud adoption, business growth, and the proactive resolution of infrastructure challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 12+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• 12+ years of extensive experience in cloud architecture, engineering, and operations, with a minimum of 4 years in a senior or lead Cloud Architect position.
• In-depth experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale hybrid/multi-cloud environments utilizing AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in Generative AI infrastructure, production-ready RAG pipelines, scalable vector databases, GPU/TPU compute clusters, Kubernetes/container orchestration, and LLM workload auto-scaling.
• Practical experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep/ARM, and Ansible.
• Strong background in cloud networking, encompassing VPCs, VNets, subnets, transit gateways, peering, private links, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, firewalls, security groups, WAF, and private API gateways.
• Familiarity with implementing enterprise security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
• Experience using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Operations, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, and the ELK/EFK stack.
• Proven record in cost optimization and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Preferred: experience in leading cloud adoption and developing strategic technology roadmaps.
• Preferred: knowledge of microservices architectures, modern APIs, secure private cloud networking, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.
• Preferred certifications include Azure Solutions Architect Expert, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, CKA/CKAD, and Azure Security Engineer Associate.
