Junior Category Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the assigned product category, focusing on its growth and business performance.

• Analyze sales, margins, turnover, and market trends.

• Collaborate in creating and implementing the category strategy concerning assortment, pricing, and promotions.

• Prepare reports, analyses, and business recommendations.

• Monitor competitor activities and changes occurring in the market.

• Support collaboration with suppliers, including negotiating trading conditions.

• Coordinate promotional activities and evaluate their effectiveness.

• Work together with sales, marketing, logistics, and planning departments.

• Ensure the accuracy of product data in internal systems.

• Assist in the processes of launching new products (NPD) and phasing out offerings.

• Participate in projects aimed at optimizing category performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education (preferred fields: economics, management, trade, marketing, or related).

• Initial professional experience or internship in purchasing, category management, analysis, or sales.

• Interest in the FMCG market and retail trading mechanisms.

• Ability to analyze data and draw business conclusions.

• Excellent proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas).

• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Attention to detail, responsibility, and accuracy.

• Ability to collaborate and communicate with various departments and suppliers.

• Proactivity and a willingness to learn and develop in the field of category management.

• Proficiency in English at a level that enables working with data and email communication.
