Junior Backend Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Enhance the backend for DataContentNaicer.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python, including REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Integrate and process various data sources and formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML.

• Construct and optimize data pipelines and models, focusing on data cleansing and feature parameter selection.

• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure APIs are high-performance, stable, and well-documented.

• Write tests and perform code reviews.

• Contribute as part of an agile team.

• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot backend components.

• Ensure quality assurance for the React frontend.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.

• Strong proficiency in Python, including frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.

• Good foundational knowledge of React.

• Experience in API design, REST, or GraphQL.

• Familiarity with data formats such as JSON, CSV, and XML.

• Basic understanding of relational or NoSQL databases.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to contributing within a growth-oriented product team.

• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.

• Must have registered residence in Germany.

• Authorized to work in Germany.

• Nice to have: Experience with data-processing libraries like Pandas or NumPy.

• Nice to have: Experience with automation, data pipelines, and ETL processes.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
