Junior Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Under supervision, assess and review contracts, legal documents, and court settlements, evaluating pertinent clauses and terms to enhance clients' positions and mitigate risks in instances of default.

• Draft and prepare initial complaints, answers, appeals, and other procedural filings while working alongside Mid-Level or Senior Attorneys, ensuring adherence to procedural deadlines and formal requirements.

• Conduct initial client consultations, collecting relevant information for case management and advising clients on legal procedures.

• Manage low-complexity legal issues.

• Assist with legislative research, case law analysis, and the formulation of reports and legal opinions.

• Maintain compliance with deadlines and ensure the technical accuracy of legal proceedings.

• Contribute to the firm's organization, efficiency, and the quality of legal deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law, with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• A minimum of 6 months of experience gained through an internship or practical work at law firms or in-house legal departments.

• Familiarity with civil law and civil procedure.

• Proficiency in legal research.

• Skills in legal writing and drafting procedural documents.

• Ability to manage deadlines and cases effectively.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Adherence to professional ethics.
