Junior Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage low-complexity legal issues.

• Review documents and create legal pleadings.

• Assist in the oversight of judicial and administrative processes.

• Perform legislative research and analyze case law.

• Aid in the development of reports and legal opinions.

• Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain the technical accuracy of casework.

• Offer initial client support under supervision.

• Contribute to enhancing the firm's organization, efficiency, and the quality of legal outputs.

• Evaluate and examine contracts, legal documents, and judicial settlements with guidance.

• Draft preliminary petitions, responses, appeals, and other procedural filings under supervision.

• Collect pertinent information from clients and provide guidance on legal procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Minimum of 6 months of experience gained through an internship or practical work in a law firm or legal department.

• Understanding of civil law and civil procedure.

• Proficient in legal research.

• Capable of legal writing and drafting pleadings.

• Skilled in deadline and case management.

• Strong negotiation abilities.

• Adherence to professional ethics.
