Junior Accountant, US Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage payment processes for a group of companies based in the US.

• Engage with US banking institutions through calls and written communications to resolve operational challenges.

• Liaise with US hosting service providers.

• Monitor and manage the flow of incoming and outgoing invoices.

• Account for Bitcoin mining output from each data center.

• Manage the accounting for materials, equipment, and inventory.

• Handle correspondence with counterparties and maintain essential financial records.

• Collaborate with the international finance team.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for the designated business sector.

• Coordinate month-end closing processes in NetSuite, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger tasks.

• Ensure precise accounting and reconciliation of mining revenues.

• Assist with external audits and collaborate with local accounting and tax professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles.

• Proficient skills in Excel.

• Proficient in English at a B2 level or above.

• Documentation that allows successful authorization and access to US corporate bank accounts, in line with specific bank requirements.

• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and excellent organizational abilities.

• High degree of independence and proactive approach.

• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.

• Experience in accounting or finance operations within US companies is preferred.

• Previous experience working with US banks is advantageous.

• Knowledge of the Russian language is a plus.

• Background in the cryptocurrency or mining sector is preferred.
