Job Coach – Individuals with Disabilities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee a caseload of approximately 10–15 clients, primarily in the community.

• Dedicate around 90% of your time at clients' job locations.

• Instruct, assist, and guide new employees in their roles through demonstration, modeling, counseling, observation, and discussion.

• Offer training and support to individuals with disabilities to facilitate their success in the workplace.

• Aid new employees with transportation from home to their job sites when necessary.

• Document detailed service notes following each session to track client progress and outcomes.

• Initially deliver intensive on-site support, gradually reducing assistance as individuals gain proficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

• Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) is an advantage.

• Flexibility in working hours and the ability to accommodate the scheduling needs of the individual.

• Experience in teaching or mentoring.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Exceptional customer service and client-facing experience.

• Proficient in case note writing and documentation.

• Competent computer skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

• Flexibility in schedule is essential.

• Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week.
