Jewellery & Antiques Buyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Participate in 3–4 roadshow events each week to assess and acquire items from the public.

• Travel to event sites, typically within a 2-hour radius of your home base.

• Deliver a professional and welcoming experience to every client.

• Extend fair offers and engage in negotiations as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with fellow buyers as a cohesive team.

• Leverage knowledge of antiques and jewelry to determine value and make informed purchasing decisions.

• Acquire items directly from the public throughout the UK.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in buying and/or selling antiques, jewelry, or comparable items.

• Strong enthusiasm for gold, jewelry, silver, cameras, toys, militaria, and various collectibles.

• Confident negotiator with a solid understanding of commercial principles.

• Approachable, trustworthy, and self-assured when interacting with customers.

• Professional demeanor and comfortable in a customer-facing environment.

• Availability to stay overnight when necessary.

• Valid UK driving license.

• Access to your own vehicle.

• Willingness to travel up to 2 hours to attend roadshow venues.

• Eligibility to work in the UK for the entire duration of employment.

• Visa sponsorship is not offered.
