Participant Benefits Services Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Respond to participant inquiries regarding benefits, plan details, and available options

• Clarify relevant forms and processes

• Investigate questions and finalize transactions

• Conduct occasional outbound calls and follow-ups

• Ensure timely completion of callbacks and escalate issues when necessary

• Accurately document participant interactions in the case management system

• Adhere to client-specific protocols while meeting quality, accuracy, productivity, and timeliness standards

• Safeguard confidential participant information and comply with company, client, privacy, and security policies

• Undergo approximately 7–8 weeks of virtual training

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong listening and interpersonal abilities

• Keen attention to detail with the capacity to convey information clearly and professionally

• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems and processes

• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities

• Ability to work independently, adhere to detailed procedures, and adjust to client-specific needs

• Patient, professional, and solution-oriented attitude

• Consistent attendance and punctuality

• Availability from Monday to Friday with scheduled hours between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM

• Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps, upload speed of 5 Mbps, and ping of 175 ms or less

• Capability to connect to a modem/router via Ethernet cable

• Dependable home internet connection

• Must reside in an eligible US hiring location; applicants from listed restricted states and metro areas are not qualified

• Preferred experience in benefits administration, defined benefit pension plans, retirement services, customer service, or call center operations
