Resuscitation Educator, Resuscitation Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Organize the learning environment to enhance student outcomes in resuscitation education courses and activities.

• Create, implement, assess, and coordinate exemplary resuscitation activities.

• Provide education to Baptist Health staff who require BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

• Uphold accreditation standards for resuscitation education within acute care hospitals.

• Ensure uniformity in the delivery of resuscitation education across Baptist Health.

• Act as a mentor and role model for fellow professionals.

• Guide and develop both new and existing Baptist Health resuscitation instructors.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree is mandatory; holders of an AS degree must complete their BS degree within 5 years from their hire date.

• Required licensure/certification in a healthcare-related field: Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapist.

• Certification as an ACLS Instructor, PALS Instructor, BLS Instructor, and/or NRP Instructor in two or more disciplines is essential.

• Candidates who meet the experience and licensure requirements but lack instructor certifications must secure these certifications within 90 days of employment.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.

• At least 2 years of experience focused on education is preferred.

• Recent experience as an AHA instructor is preferred.

• Familiarity with course instruction and evaluation is preferred.

• Capability to lead classroom instruction and organize hands-on learning sessions in a multitasking environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft-based software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.

• A BS degree is preferred.
