Java EE Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Solutions Architect

• Create Java EE and/or Spring applications

• Evaluate and enhance application performance within the WebSphere environment

• Design solutions utilizing SOA and/or microservices

• Engage with high-availability solutions, including clustering, load balancing, high-volume data processing, messaging, and asynchronous integrations

• Develop applications for at least two application servers: Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, WebSphere Application Server version 8 or newer, or WebSphere Open Liberty

• Collaborate with SOAP Web Services, REST APIs, IBM Integration Bus, IBM MQ, Apache Maven, and Gradle

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, a postgraduate qualification in the field, or Oracle Certified Master Java EE Enterprise Architect certification (or higher)

• Proven experience as a Java Architect, with expertise in Java EE and/or Spring

• Background in developing applications on at least two application servers: Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, IBM WebSphere Application Server, or Open Liberty

• Experience in analyzing and tuning application performance within the WebSphere environment

• Understanding of high-availability solutions, including clustering, load balancing, high-volume data processing, messaging, and asynchronous integrations

• Proficient in SOAP Web Services and REST APIs

• Experience in designing solutions based on SOA and/or microservices

• Familiarity with IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM MQ, Apache Maven, and Gradle

• Experience with IBM Rational Software Architect and enterprise architecture in a Java environment is an advantage
