Java Developer, Spring Boot – Upgrade & Modernization, 7+ years of experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in upgrading applications from Spring Boot 2.7 to 3.5.

• Facilitate Java upgrades from versions 11/17 to 21.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Maven (pom.xml) files, builds, dependencies, and upgrades.

• Tackle challenges associated with builds, compatibility, testing, and migration.

• Offer support with Python skills when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7+ years of relevant experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Java.

• Proven hands-on experience with Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with application modernization practices.

• Experience in upgrading dependencies.

• Proficient in troubleshooting Maven (pom.xml) files, builds, dependencies, and related upgrade concerns.

• Python experience is advantageous, though not required.
