Java Developer, Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development, enhancement, and upkeep of high-availability, high-performance backend solutions, contributing to architecture design, API implementation, system integrations, and the modernization of corporate applications, while ensuring quality, security, scalability, and compliance with development best practices.

• Create and sustain backend applications utilizing Java and contemporary frameworks;

• Design and execute RESTful APIs and microservices;

• Take part in defining the technical architecture and the technological advancement of solutions;

• Develop integrations between corporate systems and external platforms;

• Implement secure development best practices (DevSecOps), automated testing, and continuous integration;

• Conduct performance analysis, troubleshooting, and application optimization;

• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams;

• Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to software engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Java backend development (Java 11+);

• Proficient knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security;

• Experience with microservices architecture;

• Development of REST APIs and system integrations;

• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and SQL;

• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar);

• Proficient in using version control tools (Git);

• Knowledge of Docker and containerization;

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines;

• Understanding of architectural patterns and design patterns;

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation;

• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience;

• At least 3 years serving as a technical specialist or technical lead on Java backend projects;

• Experience in digital transformation projects, system integration, and modernization of corporate applications.
