Java Developer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Rapidly acquire new technological skills

• Exhibit and validate current technical proficiency

• Collaborate with a mentor to develop a personalized roadmap and identify areas for improvement

• Communicate issues and obstacles to the mentor promptly

• Review suggested materials and be receptive to feedback, recommendations, and constructive criticism

• Demonstrate advancement towards the Junior Java Developer level within the specified timeframe

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of Java

• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with any SQL dialect, including simple SELECT/INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE queries and table joins

• Introductory knowledge of GoF design patterns

• Familiarity with Git, IDEs, and Gradle/Maven

• Basic knowledge and practical experience with Spring Boot and comprehension of its core principles

• Experience in unit testing with JUnit and Mockito

• Basic knowledge and understanding of REST, including its design and usage

• Proficiency in the Linux command line

• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

• Availability for internship or full-time position
