Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

• Build high-performance distributed backend systems and upgrade the platform using contemporary Java and frameworks.

• Contribute to the Playtech Open Platform, a unified network and API that connects Playtech infrastructure with operator systems and gaming provider services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong knowledge of modern Java, ideally Java 21/25.

• Familiarity with multithreading and concurrency.

• Effective problem-solving abilities.

• Understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• General knowledge of distributed systems and backend application design.

• Comprehension of database concepts.

• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

• Dedication to producing high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested software.

• Experience with the Spring Framework.

• Familiarity with Hibernate/JPA.

• Proficiency in using Git.

• Experience with Docker.

• Knowledge of performance tuning and debugging performance issues is a plus.
