This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a key member of the development team, taking responsibility for work items to be implemented in each Sprint.
• Engage in multidisciplinary software development tasks, concentrating on quality and maintainability, which encompass requirements gathering, analysis and design, coding, configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee your workload and promptly inform the team of any delays or obstacles encountered.
• Create new features for a robust and scalable product that is utilized daily by thousands of users at large enterprises.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or another field related to Information Technology.
• Alternatively, a university degree in any discipline with a specialization in Information Technology.
• Preferred certifications: Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher), Certified Scrum Developer (CSD), Professional Scrum Developer (PSD).
• Familiarity with financial systems development.
• Understanding of agile principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.
• Acquainted with continuous integration and delivery, as well as DevOps practices.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Service.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in configuration and change management using ClearCase, SVN, and Git.
• Capability in analyzing and specifying functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.
• Proficient in design patterns and programming best practices.
• Experience with enterprise systems integration.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and development, including tracing, APIs, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in migrating from monolithic systems to microservices.
• Knowledge of relational data modeling.
• Familiarity with layered architecture and the MVC model.
• Experience in creating responsive interfaces and Progressive Web Applications (PWA).
• Knowledge of messaging, JMS, web services, WebSphere Message Broker, REST, SOA, and EJB 3.
• Proficient in Java Swing.
• Experience with Jenkins, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), specification by example, refactoring, and continuous delivery.
• Proficient in JavaScript/ECMAScript, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.
• Understanding of UX and usability concepts.
• Experience in various testing methodologies including unit, integration, system/functional, acceptance, load, performance, vulnerability, usability, and accessibility testing; also, test automation.
• Familiarity with JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.
• Experience in building mocks/stubs.
• Proficient in Java Web technologies: JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Apache Velocity, and Spring.
• Familiarity with JSF, JPA, and Struts.
• Experience with JBoss, WebSphere, Liberty servers, and Quarkus framework.
• Knowledge of multi-tenant application architecture.
• Familiar with Linux and static analysis using SonarQube.
• Experience in web application refactoring.
• Skills in reverse engineering.
• Knowledge of CMT transaction management.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.
• Familiarity with MUMPS programming.
• Knowledge of Caché database.
• Experience with OpenVMS and/or Linux.
• Familiarity with CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and API interfaces is desirable.
• Experience with Delphi programming.
• Knowledge of three-tier architecture and MVC.
• Familiarity with Enterprise PowerBuilder.
• Development experience for UNIX-like systems.
• Understanding of ISO 8583 message routing.
• Knowledge of financial technologies such as J/XFS, CWA, and FDI, alongside the integration of banking peripherals.
• Understanding of cryptography.
