This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a member of the development team, engaging with work items for implementation during each Sprint.
• Conduct a range of software development tasks, encompassing requirements, analysis and design, programming, configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Prioritize product quality and sustain its maintainability.
• Oversee your own workload and swiftly communicate any delays or obstacles to the team.
• Create and sustain features for a solution utilized daily by thousands of users at large organizations.
• Participate in the development of financial systems, enterprise system integration, and microservices architecture.
• Apply practices in continuous integration, continuous delivery, DevOps, and test automation.
• Develop, test, deploy, and enhance Java applications, including web, responsive, and PWA formats.
• Work with containers, Kubernetes, databases, messaging systems, APIs, web services, and the migration of monolithic systems to microservices.
• A bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field.
• Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with a specialization in Information Technology.
• Familiarity with financial systems development.
• Comprehension of agile development principles and methodologies, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/delivery and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services (ADS).
• Proficiency in configuration and change management with tools like ClearCase, SVN, and Git.
• Understanding of functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.
• Acquainted with design patterns, programming best practices, and enterprise systems integration.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and development, including tracing, APIs, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of relational data modeling, layered architecture, and MVC.
• Knowledge of messaging, JMS, WebSphere Message Broker, REST, SOA, and EJB 3.
• Proficient in Java Swing, Java for Web, JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Apache Velocity, and Spring.
• Knowledge of JSF, JPA, Struts, JBoss, WebSphere, Liberty, and Quarkus.
• Familiarity with Linux, SonarQube, SQL, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.
• Skills in MUMPS, Caché database, OpenVMS, and/or Linux.
• Desirable familiarity with CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.
• Skills in Delphi, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and UNIX-like solutions.
• Experience with ISO 8583 message routing.
• Understanding of financial technologies such as J/XFS, CWA, FDI, and peripheral integration.
• Experience with cryptography.
• Preferred certifications include Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher), CSD, or PSD.
