This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Become a part of the development team, undertaking work items for each Sprint.
• Engage in various software development activities, which encompass requirements gathering, analysis and design, programming, configuration management, testing, and deployment.
• Emphasize the quality and maintainability of a robust, scalable product utilized daily by thousands of enterprise users.
• Take ownership of your tasks and swiftly communicate any delays or obstacles to the team.
• A bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or another related Information Technology field; or a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a focus on Information Technology.
• Preferred certifications: Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer (version 5 or higher), CSD or PSD.
• Proven experience in the development of financial systems.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies: Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.
• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery, as well as DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Service.
• Knowledge of configuration and change management tools such as ClearCase, SVN, and Git.
• Ability to analyze and define functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.
• Expertise in design patterns, coding best practices, and enterprise system integration.
• Experience with microservices architecture and development, including tracing, APIs, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Competence in relational data modeling, SQL, layered architecture, and MVC.
• Experience in system integration with messaging, JMS, Web services, WebSphere Message Broker, REST, SOA, and EJB 3.
• Proficiency in Java Web technologies: JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Apache Velocity, and Spring.
• Knowledge of JSF, JPA, Struts, JBoss, WebSphere, Liberty, Quarkus, and Linux.
• Experience with JavaScript/ECMAScript, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS/Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.
• Skills in software testing and automation using JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.
• Familiarity with mocks/stubs, refactoring, TDD, ATDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Proficiency in IDEs such as Eclipse and Visual Studio Code; Ant and Apache Maven.
• Experience with MUMPS, Caché, OpenVMS/Linux, Delphi, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and UNIX-like systems.
• Desired knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.
• Experience with ISO 8583, financial technologies J/XFS, payment peripherals, and cryptography.
