Java Developer Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field; or a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a focus on Information Technology.

• Proven experience in developing financial systems.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and principles, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery and DevOps methodologies.

• Proficiency with tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services.

• Experience with version control systems like ClearCase, SVN, and Git.

• Expertise in analyzing and specifying functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.

• Knowledge of design patterns and best programming practices.

• Experience in enterprise system integration and microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, APIs, tracing, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.

• Experience in migrating monolithic systems to a microservices architecture.

• Competence in relational data modeling, SQL, layered architecture, and MVC.

• Understanding of messaging, JMS, Web services, REST, SOA, EJB 3, and IBM WebSphere Message Broker.

• Knowledge of responsive design and Progressive Web Apps (PWA).

• Understanding of Java Swing.

• Familiarity with practices such as continuous integration, TDD, ATDD, specification by example, refactoring, and continuous delivery.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, ECMAScript 5/6+, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular 5+, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.

• Knowledge of user experience (UX) and usability principles.

• Experience with various testing methodologies, including unit, integration, system/functional, acceptance, load, performance, vulnerability, usability, and accessibility testing; test automation with tools like JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.

• Skills in building mocks/stubs for interface simulation and virtualization.

• Java programming expertise for the Web with JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Apache Velocity, and Spring.

• Familiarity with JSF, JPA, and Struts frameworks.

• Knowledge of server technologies, including JBoss, WebSphere, Liberty servers, and the Quarkus framework.

• Understanding of multi-tenant application architecture.

• Proficiency in Linux and static code analysis using SonarQube.

• Experience in web application refactoring, reverse engineering, and container-managed transactions (CMT).

• Familiarity with development environments such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.

• Skills in MUMPS, Caché, OpenVMS, and/or Linux.

• Desirable knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.

• Skills in Delphi, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and UNIX-like solutions.

• Experience with ISO 8583 message routing.

• Familiarity with financial technologies like J/XFS and payment peripheral integration.

• Experience with cryptography.

• Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer, as well as CSD and PSD certifications, are preferred but not required.
