Java Developer Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Create and sustain Java solutions, microservices, enterprise integrations, and financial systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or another related field in Information Technology.

• Alternatively, a completed bachelor's degree in any discipline along with a postgraduate specialization in Information Technology.

• Preference for Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE Programmer certification, version 5 or later.

• Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) certification is preferred.

• Professional Scrum Developer (PSD) certification is preferred.

• Understanding of financial systems development.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, XP, and Kanban.

• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Service.

• Proficiency with ClearCase, SVN, and Git.

• Skills in requirements analysis and specification, covering functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.

• Knowledge of design patterns and programming best practices.

• Experience in enterprise systems integration.

• Expertise in microservices architecture and development.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Competence in relational data modeling, SQL, MVC, and layered architecture.

• Knowledge of messaging, JMS, Web Services, REST, SOA, EJB 3, and WebSphere Message Broker.

• Proficiency in Java Swing, Java Web, JEE, JSE, MicroProfile, Java 8+, Apache Velocity, and Spring.

• Experience with JavaScript, ECMAScript 5/6+, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, Angular 5+, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.

• Skills in software testing and automation using JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and JMeter.

• Experience in constructing mocks and stubs.

• Familiarity with JBoss, WebSphere, Liberty application servers, and the Quarkus framework.

• Proficient in Linux, SonarQube, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Ant, and Apache Maven.

• Knowledge of additional languages and technologies, including MUMPS, Delphi, Enterprise PowerBuilder, CICS, MQ Series, and SOAP.

• Experience with Caché 2010.2+ databases.

• Familiarity with OpenVMS and/or Linux.

• Understanding of financial technologies J/XFS and ISO 8583.

• Experience with cryptography.
