This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee a comprehensive inventory of circuits, carriers, phone numbers, VoIP services, devices, contracts, costs, and service statuses on a site-by-site basis.
β’ Examine, reconcile, and authorize telecommunications invoices while identifying opportunities to minimize unnecessary expenses.
β’ Act as the primary operational liaison for telecommunications carriers and service providers.
β’ Manage issues, installations, commitments, and escalations through to resolution.
β’ Coordinate telecommunications projects, including circuit consolidation, new circuit installations, carrier transitions, VoIP migrations, and disconnection of legacy services.
β’ Oversee telecommunications services from ordering to disconnection.
β’ Diagnose telecom-related outages and connectivity issues in collaboration with vendors and internal IT teams.
β’ Communicate outage statuses, business impacts, and updates to internal stakeholders and leadership.
β’ Administer day-to-day VoIP operations, including user management, extensions, phone numbers, devices, voicemail, fax, call routing, queues, licensing, and connectivity.
β’ Assist with telecommunications-related employee and device onboarding and offboarding processes.
β’ Maintain phone and voicemail systems while providing user support and training.
β’ Serve as an escalation point for telecom, voice, circuit, and connectivity issues.
β’ Ensure accurate telecommunications documentation is maintained.
β’ Facilitate telecommunications integration for acquisitions, including service discovery, number porting, equipment requirements, VoIP migration, cutover coordination, and the phasing out of legacy services.
β’ Create reports and dashboards for budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and project tracking.
β’ Manage projects while adhering to established budgets and timelines.
β’ Enhance processes, performance, service reliability, and telecommunications efficiency.
β’ High school diploma or GED is required.
β’ 2β4 years of experience in supporting telecommunications environments, including VoIP, carrier circuits, telecom expense management, vendor coordination, and/or multi-site implementations.
β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
β’ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
β’ Equivalent education and work experience will be taken into account.
β’ Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
β’ Experience in coordinating circuit installations, carrier migrations, number porting, and service disconnections.
β’ Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
β’ Knowledge of telecommunications carriers, billing structures, and contracts.
β’ Previous experience with RingCentral is desirable.
