IT Specialist – Systems & Automations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain automation systems utilizing Google Apps Script as the main development framework.

• Integrate ClickUp, Google Workspace, and third-party APIs to facilitate system connectivity and data transfer.

• Create and develop streamlined HTML/CSS/JavaScript web interfaces for internal tools and dashboards.

• Utilize Google Sheets as a data repository with organized tabs, formulas, and script-driven workflows.

• Convert non-technical requests from Operations, HR, Finance, and Leadership into automated solutions.

• Produce documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), specifications, and system registries.

• Engage in two-week sprint cycles that encompass grooming, development, testing, deployment, and retrospectives.

• Oversee and enhance existing systems, which constitutes about 20% of the role.

• Collaborate on ClickUp Super Agents, prompt engineering, and automation strategies.

• Employ no-code/low-code tools when full custom builds are unnecessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Google Apps Script / JavaScript: Capable of writing modular scripts, working with triggers, and developing web applications.

• Experience with REST API integration: Able to read API documentation, authenticate, parse JSON, and manage errors.

• Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools: Experienced with platforms such as Zapier, Make, or native app automation solutions.

• AI fluency & Agentic AI: Comfortable using AI tools regularly, understands prompting, and can configure or manage AI agents.

• CRM experience: Knowledgeable about CRM platforms and the flow of data within them (contacts, pipelines, automations).

• Process-oriented thinking: Capable of analyzing a manual workflow and identifying automation opportunities.

• Self-motivated work style: Comfortable with asynchronous communication, managing personal tickets, and delivering results independently.

• Eagerness to learn quickly: While not expected to know everything from the start, the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and skills independently is essential.

• Primary computer specifications: Intel Core i5-6000 (6th Gen or higher) or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher; 8 GB RAM; Windows 11 64-bit or macOS Ventura; USB noise-cancelling headset; clear video camera.

• Backup computer or UPS: A backup computer that meets the specified processor, RAM, and operating system requirements, or a UPS that can power the workstation for at least 3 hours, typically with 240Wh or higher.

• Primary internet connection: DSL/fiber with a minimum contracted speed of 100 Mbps.

• Backup internet connection: Minimum cellular speed of 20 Mbps.
