IT Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the design, development, and upkeep of automated provisioning and deprovisioning across various applications.

• Execute birthright roles and workflows driven by HiBob for joiners, movers, and leavers.

• Connect HiBob, JumpCloud, Tequipy, Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and the broader SaaS ecosystem utilizing REST APIs, SCIM, and n8n.

• Set up and troubleshoot SSO/SCIM and SAML flows within JumpCloud.

• Manage SSO application integrations and resolve provisioning and authentication challenges.

• Develop security and compliance automations for local-admin removal and enforcement of least-privilege access, contributing to DORA, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 initiatives.

• Oversee Jira Service Management, which includes workflows, request types, forms, and automations, in conjunction with Atlassian, Slack, and Notion.

• Create and evaluate JumpCloud MDM policies, profiles, and scripts for seamless zero-touch deployment of Windows and macOS via Apple Business Manager.

• Supervise software deployment and OS-level configuration on a large scale.

• Track system logs, performance metrics, and SaaS usage to uncover inefficiencies and cost-saving possibilities.

• Implement license reclamation and other budget-optimization processes.

• Develop and sustain technical documentation, configuration records, automation workflows, and API mappings.

• Lead smaller technical projects from start to finish and offer technical support to the team.

• Work alongside Security, People Ops, DevOps, and the Solutions Engineer to provide comprehensive solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT/DevOps engineering.

• Practical expertise in both Windows and macOS environments.

• Strong IAM experience with JumpCloud or a similar IdP for SSO, SCIM, and SAML.

• Experience in configuring integrations and troubleshooting intricate provisioning and authentication issues.

• Strong MDM/UEM experience with JumpCloud MDM, Intune, or Jamf.

• Proven experience in creating endpoint profiles and scripts for zero-touch deployments.

• Proficient in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, SCIM, and n8n or an equivalent automation/iPaaS platform.

• Skilled in administering Google Workspace or M365.

• Experience with ITSM tools, preferably Jira Service Management.

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Advanced proficiency in using AI tools for troubleshooting, drafting automations, and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, DORA, SOC 2, and SaaS governance/management tools is a significant advantage.

• Experience with HRIS-driven automation such as HiBob and hardware lifecycle tools like Tequipy is a considerable plus.

• Background in fast-paced, modern infrastructure settings is a strong plus.

• ITIL 4 Foundation and JumpCloud Core Certification, or a willingness to obtain these certifications, is a strong plus.
