IT Solutions Architect, ServiceNow – ITAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Grasp stakeholder business requirements and convert them into ITAM solution architectures utilizing ServiceNow SAM and HAM.

• Design comprehensive ITAM solutions that encompass the entire software and hardware asset lifecycles, including license compliance, procurement, and disposal.

• Create and configure workflows, data structures, reports, and dashboards for ServiceNow SAM and HAM.

• Work collaboratively with developers, administrators, and IT teams to deploy and integrate ITAM solutions.

• Offer technical guidance and support throughout the implementation and operational phases.

• Evaluate existing ITAM processes and systems, and suggest enhancements.

• Stay informed on industry trends, licensing models, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

• Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions focusing on ITAM best practices and ServiceNow SAM/HAM.

• Partner with vendors and software publishers regarding licensing agreements, contracts, and license optimization.

• Oversee solution performance, assess metrics, and produce reports to drive continuous improvement.

• Act as a subject matter expert in ITAM, leveraging emerging technologies and innovations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, including military experience.

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• 5–8 years of demonstrated experience as an IT Solutions Architect, with a focus on IT Asset Management.

• Proficiency in implementing ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

• Comprehensive understanding of ITAM principles, best practices, and industry standards.

• Strong knowledge of software and hardware asset lifecycles, licensing models, and compliance obligations.

• Expertise in administering, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow related to SAM and HAM modules.

• Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive ITAM solutions and integrations with other IT systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in project management.

• Self-driven and proactive, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and staying abreast of ITAM trends and technologies.

• ServiceNow HAM and SAM certifications, as well as ITIL certification, are preferred.
