IT Solution Architect – Azure, Databricks, AI Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create the production runtime architecture utilizing Databricks and Azure.

• Establish networking, identity, access, and environmental architecture across development, testing, acceptance, and production environments.

• Design with an emphasis on availability, SLOs, monitoring, alerting, backup, restoration, rollback, and operational resilience.

• Define secure write-back mechanisms and controls for essential business integrations.

• Collaborate with client architects to determine integration patterns, including API Management, integration layers, asynchronous APIs, and callbacks.

• Outline the operating model encompassing L1/L2/L3 support, incident management, change management, and release management.

• Plan for service transition and handover to local IT teams.

• Ensure the solution is supportable after deployment.

• Represent the solution in architecture and design boards.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, platform, security, operations, and regional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Azure solution architecture, including APIM, Entra ID, Key Vault, private endpoints, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

• Strong hands-on experience in architecture with Databricks, including Unity Catalog and Model Serving / AI Gateway.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Significant experience with CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps.

• Proven experience in designing production systems for high availability, observability, backup, restoration, and rollback.

• Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API architecture.

• Experience in defining ITIL-based operating models and service transitions for critical systems.

• Strong aptitude for collaborating with architecture boards and senior technical stakeholders.

• Fluent in English.

• Capability to work remotely within the EU.
