IT Security Consultant – Network Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create IT security strategies.

• Assist in the integration of various solutions into operational environments.

• Provide guidance to clients in choosing appropriate security solutions and strategies.

• Specialize in Endpoint Security, XDR, SIEM, Network Security, Cloud Security, and SOC Services.

• Continuously enhance and broaden IT security monitoring capabilities.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop use cases and playbooks.

• Link client environments to the SOC platform.

• Investigate abnormal activities in networks, files, and log files.

• Document and report on security incidents.

• Identify and evaluate various threat scenarios.

• Coordinate response efforts with clients and partners.

• Technically execute customer IT security specifications.

• Deploy recommended security solutions for clients.

• Formulate data protection strategies and architectures to protect confidential information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in IT security solutions and networking technologies.

• A completed technical degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Openness to travel, including occasional trips within the DACH region.

• Demonstrated performance and results orientation, along with resilience and dependability in meeting deadlines.
