IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Plan, oversee, and regulate IT projects that provide technological solutions for the Ergomed organization.

• Deliver and transition systems and capabilities into production environments and business operations within established timelines and budgets.

• Define project scope, objectives, and criteria for success.

• Develop and finalize Project Initiation documentation.

• Create and manage project plans, governance structures, management frameworks, and reporting artifacts.

• Engage with and oversee business stakeholders, subject matter experts, IT teams, business QA teams, and external suppliers.

• Formulate and manage project budgets and work packages.

• Track project plans, milestones, work packages, and critical paths to ensure timely delivery.

• Manage and authorize milestone payments to third-party vendors.

• Establish project management protocols, governance, and reporting frameworks.

• Provide updates on project progress, challenges, and escalations.

• Secure business approval for project completion.

• Transition projects into production alongside IT Service Operations and Technical Support.

• Ensure project information is recorded in relevant business and IT systems for ongoing support and lifecycle management.

• Agree on ownership and timelines for resolving post-transition deliverables.

• Conclude projects and generate necessary project closure documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects across the entire project lifecycle.

• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Experience in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and changes.

• Excellent stakeholder, supplier, communication, and leadership abilities.

• Capability to lead cross-functional teams and handle competing priorities.

• Experience in transitioning systems or services into production environments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Microsoft Teams.

• Ability to handle multiple and diverse tasks enthusiastically while prioritizing workload with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum Master is preferred.

• Familiarity with ITIL and IT service management practices is preferred.

• Experience in a regulated industry, preferably pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, clinical research, or healthcare is preferred.

• Knowledge of system validation, data integrity, information security, and regulatory compliance is preferred.
