Senior IT Project Manager – Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate multi-partner IT initiatives from the planning stage and coordination to successful execution.

• Ensure that business and project goals are met effectively.

• Organize complex projects to provide clarity, direction, and reliability.

• Establish and align realistic, sustainable project goals with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Recognize risks early, take proactive corrective measures, and address issues pragmatically.

• Support projects from the initial concept through customer engagement to team development.

• Illustrate business value and evolve into a trusted advisor.

• Collaborate closely with Leadership and Product Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in leading complex IT projects.

• Experience in working with various partners and stakeholders is preferred.

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, particularly in Linux environments and Identity & Access Management.

• Capability to confidently assess and contextualize technical interdependencies.

• Strong customer orientation and effective, empathetic expectation management.

• Proficiency in German at negotiating level (C2).

• Fluent in English (B2/C1).

• Experience in crisis management and realigning projects effectively.

• Experience in the public sector is a plus.

• Project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum Master) are advantageous.

• An affinity for open source technologies is a benefit.

• Experience working with remote teams is an asset.
